Mattermost events code of conduct

Mattermost is dedicated to maintaining a professional, respectful, safe environment at all company-sponsored events. This Code of Confuct outlines behavioral exepctations for all attendees to ensure a positive experience for everyone. Mattermost takes violations of our policy seriously and will respond appropriately.

This policy applies to all participants, including employees, contractors and guests. By attending this event, you agree to comply with the following guidelines.

1. Professional & Respectful Behavior All Attendees are expected to:

   • Conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

   • Be courteous in all interactions, whether in person, online, or through social media.

   • Avoid disruptive, inappropriate, or offensive behavior.

2. No Discrimination or Harassment Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to:

   • Offensive remarks, jokes, or gestures related to personal characteristics.

   • Unwanted physical contact or inappropriate advances.

   • Bullying, intimidation, or threats. If you expereince or witness any such behavior, please report it immediately to HR (Natalie Jew, VP of HR or Lynn Conway, Senior Manager, People).

3. Responsible Social Media & Photography

   • Obtain consent before taking or sharing photos/videos of others.

   • Do not disclose confidential company information or private conversations online.

4. Alcohol & Subtance Use

   • If alcohol is served, drink responsibly and ensure your behavior remains professional.

   • The use of illegal substances is prohibited.

5. Safety & Compliance

   • Follow all venue rules and safety guidelines.

   • Report any saftey concerns or suspicious activity to HR, your Manager, or the Events Organizer immediately.

   • Do not engage in any activity that could endanger yourself or others.

6. Consequences for Violations Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in:

   • Immediate removal from the event.

   • Further disciplinary action, including termination.

   • Legal action if necessary.

7. Reporting Issues If you have concerns or witness a violation of this Code, please report it to HR, [e-mail][contact name, email, or phone number]. All reports will be taken seriously and addressed as appropriate.
